For Causticly
Derek focused on the house, listening intently. The Sheriff's car wasn't in the driveway and he could only hear one heartbeat in the house so he assumed Stiles was home alone. He debated for a moment before foregoing the front door and leaping up to Stiles' window. Sliding it open, he ducked his head inside to see Stiles lying on his bed and not looking too well.
After everything that had happened with the Beast, not to mention what happened to Stiles when he was at Malia's, Derek had been worried. A shard of glass through the chest was nothing to laugh at and he'd been waiting for what felt like ages to get to Stiles and check on him.
"Hey," he said softly, sliding inside and closing the window behind him. "How are you feeling?"

The teen crosses his arms over his chest, pouting a little. Not that he would admit to pouting or anything. Mildly perturbed maybe.

Derek wasn't usually big on restraint when it came to sex, but he'd never been with someone like Stiles either. Someone he absolutely trusted. For that, he could wait.
"Wait. Did you just call me your boyfriend?" he questions, his eyes lighting up with amusement.
no subject
Stiles completely stills at the question, then thinks back to what he said and realizes he did just call Derek his boyfriend. They haven't even gone on a date yet!
He feels flustered all of a sudden, his face pinking as he looks away, not daring to look at Derek's face. It's not like they talked about it at length or anything, so really right now they weren't anything other than friends who are pretty interested in each other.
"I- it's- it was just a slip of the tongue, I promise. That's all. So you can just... pretend I didn't say that?"

"Because I think you would actually make a pretty excellent boyfriend."
no subject
Yes, he was basically telling Stiles he wanted to be exclusive while they figured things out.
no subject
"I think I'd be more than okay with that."
no subject
"Did I hurt you?" he asks, searching Stiles' face.
no subject
"Not at all," he murmurs, leaning forward for another kiss.

Derek was desperately hoping that this time wouldn't be a mistake, knowing he could trust Stiles and didn't have to fear anything from him. There was a small part of him that was screaming a warning, but that was the paranoid part of him and he understood that so he tried to ignore it.

The last thing Stiles ever wanted to do would be to hurt Derek. Derek's already been hurt too much, enough to last a life time. If anything, Stiles vows to protect him from that, from anything that would hurt him like that again.

"Your scent...your taste," he murmurs against his skin. "Can't get enough." Derek is trying very hard not to lose control and just devour Stiles considering his current condition and it takes more than a few minutes for him to pay attention to the smell of blood mixing with Stiles' other scents.
Groaning, he pulls back, searching Stiles' face. Without asking, he touches his arm and begins to bleed away the pain. "I'm sorry, I lost a bit of control there."
no subject
The words go straight to his gut, coiling hotly there and Stiles can't help but moan into Derek's mouth. Stiles is panting by the time Derek pulls away, and Stiles curses his human-ness for being so easily injury-able.
"I am so for you losing control," he says, slumping against Derek a little as the pain is drained away again.
no subject
Sighing, he pulls back his hand and smiles softly. "Give it at least a few days and we'll see, alright?"
no subject
He feels less annoyed when he sees that sweet little smile on Derek's face, his chest warming at the sight. "Yeah, okay."
Leaning back against the headboard to get comfortable, Stiles pats the spot next to him, much like he did that first night.
"At least come keep me warm while I try to get some rest." Twice now he's gotten Derek in bed next to him and not been able to do a damn thing about it. Ugh, his life.

Though to be honest, Derek wasn't really looking forward to the blue balls he would no doubt have to deal with himself. But it wasn't like he wasn't used to it by now.
"Are you sleepy? Want to put on a movie you can fall asleep to? Then maybe we can try and get some more food into."
no subject
Though he settles once Derek's beside him and finds himself yawning a little.
"A little, yeah. Hey, why don't you tell me where you've traveled while you were gone, instead?" Stiles asks, he's had enough of watching movies for now, having spent the first few days of his injury in bed watching them.

He pauses for a moment to study their joined hands before continuing. "I finally made my way north again, bought a little cottage on the beach down south of here. It's where I've primarily been staying. Healing I guess you should say. I spend a lot of time meditating, learning to control the full shit to a wolf." His eyes sparkled when he smiled at Stiles. "I am one damned handsome wolf, for the record."
"Speaking of the cottage, if you ever want to get away for a weekend, it's right on the beach and a pretty chill place to be. Let me know if you want to go sometime, alright? I...I think I'd like to share that with you.'
no subject
And speaking of family, Stiles should at some point tell Derek that Malia is his cousin. That he briefly dated. He's not quite sure how that will go over, so he'll shelf it for now.
Stiles snorts at how proud of that Derek sounds. "I have no doubt. You'll have to show me sometime," he says, sounding tired but generally interested.
"Really?" Stiles asks, tilting his head back and up to look at Derek better from where he'd been slouched against him. His face flushes a tiny bit but he nods. "I think I'd like that too. Maybe we can do that when spring break hits."
no subject
He grins. "How about we plan our first date, then we'll worry about spring break. Is there anything in particular you want to do when you're healed up? Any movie you want to see, or place you want eat?" Please god, don't let him say that he wanted to go bowling.
no subject
"I'm sure you can guess exactly what I'd like to do once I'm healed up," he says, giving Derek a heated once over. What? He's a healthy teenager!
